You cannot self-nominate or nominate anyone else in your firm; you cannot buy your way into membership; you can only be selected via peer surveys and advisory board review—all monitored by the Law Bulletin Publishing Company. The LBPC, founded in 1854, is the oldest privately held, continuously running business in the city of Chicago: a solid, respected organization that publishes the Chicago Daily Law Bulletin, Chicago Lawyer monthly magazine, Sullivan’s Law Directory, and many other titles–all leading resources in the legal industry. Five Star Professional
Researched. Reviewed. Recognized. The prestigious Five Star Professional award is presented to no more than 7% of professionals in the Chicago area, and is based on criteria objectively measured by an independent research process. This award is designed to help consumers identify professionals who provide quality service to their clients. Award candidates are identified by one of three sources: firm nomination, peer nomination or pre-qualification based on industry standing. Self nominations are not accepted. We are proud to be recognized as a Five Star Professional for the Chicago area.
Martindale Hubbell
Client Review Rated
Client Review Ratings facilitated by the trusted source, Martindale Hubbell, provide an objective platform where clients can share their experiences working with a specific lawyer or law firm. This program was established to address the growing needs of buyers of legal services to have feedback from other buyers of legal services about the lawyers and firms they have retained. Client Review ratings use a simple one-page survey with four main questions that measure communication ability, quality of service, responsiveness and value for the money on specific matters. Also included is an overall recommendation, or “thumbs up” if the attorney and firm are recommended. We are proud to currently boast a perfect 5.0 out of 5.0 and a “thumbs up” from those clients who have taken the time to complete the survey.
